Available CA&E and AE&FRE Models in Kit or Other Forms

Happy New Year to all!

Someone asked why personal scratch-built or scratch-built models purchased from a "professional" builder are not included in your lists. The intention of the lists was to provide info on models available in kits, bodies, or finished mass produced models.

Scratch-built models are hard to list as there are a number of them built by many individuals. It's easy to miss someone with the potential of causing hard feelings. Also, I didn't want to be constantly adding to the list as someone would come forward stating "I scratch-built a model of . . . ".

Making lists of the commercially available mass produced models was hard enough. As you'll find out when it comes to the CNS&M models, finding out the correct information is difficult when there is not an excellent source of information and the manufacturers don't respond to questions. More on this in the next post.

Because a model is listed does not mean an endorsement from me. Some items listed are fantastic while other may be very basic in nature. However, even very basic models with proper finishing can be extremely well done model!

Here is the CA&E list -
